§ 1.16.020. Declaration as infraction or civil zoning violation—Violations and penalties.

The council declares the violation of which ordinance or ordinances shall be infractions or civil zoning violations, and for each such violation, a fine shall be set. The fine shall not exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) for any single, initial infraction and shall not exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) for any single civil zoning violation. Each day the violation continues shall constitute a separate offense. The authority to declare infractions and civil zoning violations, and set fines shall not be delegated by the council to any other administrative or legislative body.
